Yeah, Straightener is a very good band. I had already ear to speak of them, but say that it is the same band as ELLE... Impossible. ^-^
Their style is not really distant (especially TENDER, which I appreciated much) but the voice of the singer is not at all that of Hosomi.
Moreover, they sing only in Japanese... aren't ?

Straightener est un très bon groupe dont j'avais déjà entendu parler (sans vraiment m'y interesser), mais de là à dire que c'est le même groupe qu'ELLEGARDEN, y'a d'la marge...
Leurs style n'est pas très éloigné (surtout dans TENDER, que j'aime beaucoup) mais la voix du chanteur n'est pas du tout celle d'Hosomi !
De plus, ils ne chantent qu'en japonais... nan ?
EDIT : J'ai regardée (et écoutée) REMINDER. Excellent clip' (ouais, et chanson aussi ><. Watch it ! =)

I discovered this band in the Nano-mugen festival 2006 and I like it !!
But they sing also in english ( dead beat head,discography for example) even if takeshi is THE BEST
The bassist Hidekazu Hinata is great 
My favorite songs are postmodern, traveling gargoyle, discography, the remains...
